Actions in cooperation with the customer

Our co-op members vote annually on the distribution of the €70,000 Kannustajat support fund for recreational activities for children and young people. As is tradition, we donated May Day balloons to the young patients at Tays. In 2025, May Day balloons delighted 400 children. In 2024, instead of sending Christmas cards, we again sent the young patients at Acuta 500 plush toys as rewards for their bravery. Together with Hope, we ran the Joulupuu donation campaign, in which our customers donated 3,711 Christmas presents to children in 2024. Together with the youth services of the City of Tampere, we have organised Bright Friday three times for seventh graders. The goal of the event is to support young people’s wellbeing and mental health, and the theme is “You’re not alone. Together we are more.” In 2024, 400 young people participated, and 97% of the respondents to the feedback survey liked the event. The theme prompted reflection and encouraged conversations with new acquaintances.
