We are POK
Over 3,000 POK employees! We have 3,154 employees (31.12.2025). We have a total of 238,078 co-op members, and the number increased by 7,967 people. (31.12.2025) We offer our co-op members a wide range of benefits. In 2025, co-op members received €41.6 million as cashback. We are a major taxpayer in Pirkanmaa. In 2025, we paid a total of €139.8 million in taxes. We support the vitality of the region by employing Pirkanmaa residents directly and indirectly. Our cooperative works as a platform for a wide range of partners, to enable the growth of companies and entrepreneurs in the region. Our comprehensive store network makes everyday life easier for customers. Food purchases can be ordered pre-picked or delivered to your home from S-kaupat.fi. The delivery robots have delighted customers since the summer of 2023.Adjacent to Prisma Kangasala is the first robot-assisted collection centre in Pirkanmaa.
Actions in cooperation with customers
Our customers donated €136,000 in bottle deposits to charity. Each year, co-op members can influence the donation targets through the Kuulolla vote. In 2025, the donation pot amounted to €136,000 and was distributed to Pirkanmaan Mielenterveys ry, Luontoliitto Häme District, Hope, and Ruokapankki. Our co-op members vote annually on the distribution of the €100,000 Kannustajat support fund for recreational activities for children and young people in Pirkanmaa. As is tradition, we donated May Day balloons to the young patients at Tays. In 2025, May Day balloons delighted 400 children. In 2025, instead of sending Christmas cards, we again sent the young patients at Acuta 300 plush toys as rewards for their bravery. In 2025, instead of traditional Christmas gifts, we also donated 140 gift cards to the Häme District of the Finnish Red Cross (SPR) to bring Christmas joy to low-income families.Together with Hope, we ran the Joulupuu donation campaign, in which our customers donated 6,205 Christmas presents to children in 2025.
